To be honest, in real terms saws have not gone up in price for years.

 

That's cause you Guys drive a hard bargain!

£40 on a saw thats going to last a good 2 years in daily use......not exactly anything to cry over IMO

It was only a matter of time everything else has gone up Petzl last week and Stihl 1st June.

Its 9% across everything that includes parts, oils, bars, PPE the lot so get in now if you need anything.

Thanks for the heads up- very annoying but having said that i was told in november that the yearly price hike was going to be big in Jan 09, and then in early jan was told to replace my 48" bar soon as the increase was due to be 40% due to weak pound, so really i reckon we have got off lightly. Mind you, i'm not in the market for expensive new toys at the mo' so it isn't such a blow as it could be......
