Need some advice.

 

Been called out to clear a fallen tree but on arrival find some of it still standing. The owners now live abroad and have left it to me to do what I think best. I am not an arborist just a chap with a saw so need some guidance on this one. They would like something to be kept if possible as they planted it themselves. Apparently it's a monterey pine and to the untrained eye there is no evidence of decay. It looks small in the picture but is probably 25+ meters high. The standing stem is about 60 cm diameter but oval.
