Tried the whole lanyard less thing. It only takes one or two dropped saws to rethink it.

I find it hard to see why you didn't rethink it fully after dropping the first saw.. had to just flatten another to be sure?

I think it's good for newbies, you must get into a good position, get your cuts right and no 1 handing. And you really learn to hang onto a saw.

I lost a 26 twice, only damaged the nose on 1, it was a poor cut and if it was on a lanyard, my hip would of been a bit sore! I don't go in for all this little cuts on a strop so it rips out either!

I wouldn't let newbies use a top handle saw until they proved competent with a heavier more clumbersome saw. Stop all this zoro action!

I'll send you my 090 up a tree, you'll rethink your policy before the saw is 5 feet off the floor!

You can try all you want to stop climbers from using a topper one handed, most of them pick the bad habits up watching others

I've climbed with an 88 many a time.

Having a strop attached to it doesn't make it any lighter.

Hahahah I allways climb with a strop.if there's a possibility whilst gobbing out a big piece high up it might grab the saw as it goes il un clip it from me,!! I haven't dropped any yet....

I've been on the adjustable for about 2 years, TomD put me on to it.

Great for a 200/201/540 but I prefer a traditional lanyard with a ring for bigger saws.

I still horizontal clip the saw handle to keep the bar out of the dirt because I am am only 4'6".
