I mounted mine vertically so that you need to raise the tipper body to get access to them, you can store more as things don't fall out when you open the door, and its very secure. most people would just think its a fuel tank to look at!!

I've used them before when I was subbing Rick.

I hear what you're saying but it was a pain not being able to store kit when the back was full of chip.

hi mate on my landrover tipper i got a steel storage box to get in to it u have to go in to it from the storage box so it give you som extra security and it will hold two fuel cans i will try and get some pics up

The plastic box fits neatly between the cab & wheel - Foleys removed the outrigger as it was not needed. The storage box can be opened with the tipper down. On the other side, I have an old steel chemsafe that's been mounted under the tipper, the tipper has to be raised to open it - so perfect for storing herbicide or flammables. See pics:
