He said petrol you said fuel

The rules for petrol and diesel storage are different

It was a poke at English health and safety.

If I had a can of 20 liters of petrol, what ml of 2 stroke should be added to this? I normally use a 1 shot in a 5 liter can but I need a lot more this week but I definitely want to get the mix right :)

Just stick 4 one shots in ?

Imo,stihl oil into 5l cans, add the petrol at the pumps, cans het a sticker to say oil added+amount of petrol needed, sticker removed when empty. always done when needed, 6 kept full all the time, may do more for bigger jobs…. full stock rotation, never run out, i'm the only one to do this, never let the lads do it…. engines cost to much to have some **** texting ect screw up the gear…. one 5l can would potentially screw up 7 motors on any given day…. too risky….20 years no hassles, use the rounded plastic petrol containers (not the squareish ones….they are harder to pour when full)!

would find it hard to justify the extra cost of premix even if it was available here,

I don't use saws at work but use 2 stroke, I do as the other chaps have said I use the measuring bottles and pour the right amount of 2 stroke in then top up with exactly 5 litres of petrol, I use hp ultra and hp (red) because I got a gallon of the pink stuff some years ago, so the stihl kit that requires the hp ultra gets it and all the other strimmers, hedgetrimmers etc. get the hp.

Where in Munster are you sandworks?

Aspen is available here and available in bulk I believe.
