What to do after CS31

By all means get some experience, however to answer your question.

the training route I would normally put people through is 30,31 - chipper - first aid - (consider 32)- 38,39 - 40,41. if need arises for brushcutter or the opportunity of mewp tickets in the meantime consider these too but of less importance.

 

32 is often a course skipped by those keen to get up the tree but is, imo, a very important one.

If your not that keen on climbing at the moment then 301 (cs32)would be best at least with that you can fell any tree in girth as at the moment there is no upper limit but that is due to change in the near future also first aid is a must and it is expected that all chainsaw users hold at least the basic qualification in addition a chipper ticket is also a good one to have it all helps to make you employable
