if you are thinking roof mounted make sure the base unit is tiptop i would recomend a new valtra with reverse drive i bought second hand and it nearly sent me under with a hydraulics problem £30000.00 in three months in repair costs and only managed about 1 weeks work in that time so beware! you can get a new machine with fantastic deals and you have all the warranty

Cheers Martin, what did you do with the unit?

Picked up any work mate?

Last one I supplied. Mowi 400 with 360 rotator. grapple and full radio remote control. All mounted to a h/d 3 point linkage to take Schliesing 550ZX. £20,000.00 +VAT and 3 month waiting list. That was mid 08. With the £ so low against the Euro you could prob add 25% to that!!!!!

i have heard this the last ten years, never been stopped, never been questioned. i dont want to give my wood away for free to guys with lorries and i dont think they would be interested in shifting half a ton of conifer, stuck down a 500 yard cull de sac behind a scheme for the joy of the firewood:sneaky2:
