Not always!

Now you're talking I can recognise that muddy finish :thumbup1:

Dragged a Countax 2050 out of a stable at one estate, two flat tyres, flat battery. Pressure washed off last seasons grass and mud, freed off the rear roller, luckily will be some weeks before I am mowing that place as lawns are waterlogged.

Hi a question if anyone can help?

I have an old lawnmower with a 23hp Kohler twin engine in it. I'm starting to have problems with it running rich. And I can't seem to set carb right. Waiting on a new air filter for it. Anyone got any ideas as to the cause? I have not yet taken the carb apart?

Many thanks Richard. Oh the mower was not used last season so it's been sat for over a year

Hi I have a John Deere 279 Lx ride on mower. It starts and cuts but seems to lack on power through the drive. Am I to assume that there is something wrong with the hydrostatic drive, if so can it be fixed.

Also have a dozen mixed Honda hrx537 and hrh 536 most have issues with them. Is there anyone in the Somerset area that would be interested in looking at them to possibly make two or three good machines out of them or repair to the better ones. Based in Ilminster. Cheers Carl:001_smile:

After a ride on ideally new between 40 and 50" cut, must mulch and collect sometimes.

Currently looking at cub cadets

Any reviews on these?

Most new machines seem very similar with specs

Josh

Sorry there have been no replies to your question Josh.

I have to admit to not being a fan of Cub Cadet, or anything else from MTD for that matter.

As an engineer I find them lacking in build finesse, and parts can be a bit pricey.

But, that said, there are plenty around, and some quite old, so they can't be all bad.
