Evening all.I went to quote to reduce a conifer hedge today and found this in the customers garden. Anyone been this close before?

Has happened to me before as well - felt almost spiritual, bambi like, cute. Quite a surreal feeling as it was in a rural village graveyard, in Dorset.

Definitely the real thing!! But he did say it's been in his garden for some time now. But that thought went through my mind too.... dinner!!!!! :-)

Mrs egg has nearly trod on a few whilst beating, some will run through the line too, with feet to spare.

 

Egg was at a pumping station once, and saw a herd of red I think through the bushes, quite close. He got his field glasses out of his van to get a better look, and whispered to his colleague to look, they saw a bunch of animals like small prairie dogs too around the deer.

 

"Wow" said egg,

 

"Yeah" said the other guy, "Banham zoo that is...." egg had no idea there even was a zoo or that he was in Banham.....

It's a young roe. I sent the pic to my mate I lamp with to ask him as he has shot a few as he has done his deer stalking course
