Question

Posted

Hi

I have a silver birch in the garden and the bark is becoming quite discoloured, I think that I remember being told years ago that the bark can - should - be washed to bring out its brilliance.

Is that true? If so what should I use?

Any advice would be welcomed thankyou.

Put it in at 40° on a short spin cycle and don't iron it, should be fine. :D

My woman can shrink anything even on a 40° cycle, I'd be careful.

Unless the OP is into bonsai?

Went to look at a silver birch today on a church, leaning heavily towards a house, covered in lichen, did not come into leaf at all last year and only half did the previous, year ?

Opinions?

Cheers

Paul
