Hi guys not even sure if i have spelling right but i have seen these chainsaw disc things that fit on a small grinder like 2 discs with a chain in the middle , what are they called and who sells them i have looked and looked but no luck can anybody help cheers Mark

Have to agree with dervish, I don't use mine after a few goes.

No accidents but the potential for one is not worth risking.

Stick with the chainsaw,nothing that can't do that a Lancelot can, and fingers nowhere near the business end.

I've not used one of the chainsaw rings but have used an arbortech pro cutter in a grinder. I don't have any problem with it and wouldn't consider it as dangerous as a chain saw (but also not able to do everything you can with a carving blade either). The only warning I'd give is that the chips off the blade are coming off very fast as as you're closer to the blade they still have quite a lot of momentum when they hit you. No issue if you're wearing a proper visor etc, but I did find my thighs covered in loads of small bruises after the first time I used it wearing jeans!

The title is the tool you want if you are going down this road the arbotech mini grinders are a lot safer than the Lancelot chainsaw cutting discs you are talking about. If you can get a paddle control grinder then it would be safer but I've used one and they are not worth the risk.
