Firewood crate waterproof cover suggestions?

I have an increasing number of crates of firewood that I need to cover to keep the rain off them. Does anyone have a suggestion for a robust tarpaulin type cover that won't tear itself apart in the wind? This is the best I've come up with (combination of price and quality):

I'm stacking my crates 3 high (3m tall) 2 wide (3.2m wide) so the 10 x 4m tarp is probably ideal.

problem I`ve had is when it rains you get massive pools of water sitting on it, and eventually wear through, and sweats,I now use old tin sheets with pallets to weigh them down, and old closeboard fencing pannels from my fencing mate, not saying its correct but works!

hello got any army surplus suppliers near you? I bought some used bund liner which is like a rubber coated canvas it was available in up to 20m x20m sheets {which weigh about a ton} I just cut it to size (Stanley knife) and bought a £5 eyelet kit (hardware store) excellent stuff doesn't rip in the wind doesn't seem to degrade in sunlight (ive had mine 6yrs so far still going strong) 100 times better than all the other tarps ive bought over the years. was also told when the army finish using it as water bund liner they were using it to land helicopters on in the desert to stop the up draft of sand getting in to air filters on engines. its good stuff and if you find some you wont regret buying it . if you ever get a hole in it you repair it with the same stuff they repair avon inflatable dinghys with .

I worked my way up through the supposedly higher quality = most expensive, but highest g/m2 weight offen ebay.

no good, eyelets pulled out.

Bought a genuine high quality poly tarp off Cunningham covers.

Eyelets stayed put, but the tarp ripped.

Sticking to sheets of tin, damaged polycarbonate, whatever else I can get.

And very very very very well ballasted.

Ah hate wind.

Acutally considering a "Blueline" or "Global Steel" type shed with one or both ends open, cunningly sited to keep most of the wind blown rain out.

Or fit the end with the doors next the wind and omit to fit the rear gable.

Then shut the doors to keep the rain out, but open them to let the dreaugth in.

A pity our weather always comes from the South West.

About 30' by 50'

bugger, foiled

The bandsawmill ud tak priority to be under such cover.

Need another bloody shed.

Or a much bigger one.

sigh.

Better work a wheen more years yet to pay for the retirment toys.

try lorry curtains as above we use second hand 40 ft trailer ideal for tate boxes some times they are swapped because of printed name i give my local man £10 each for his good ones. yes water sits on top but washes off side when peeling back to un cover boxes. if they only last a year they are cheap.
