dean, would it be possible to get one of them sensors that calls your mobile phone, then you could sneak down the yard and catch them red handed.

I think theres a way of linking something like that in with the cctv system I want to put in. The problem with the new yard is it's out of sight of any buildings so is therefore going to be more "tempting" for people.

I'm trying to find something like you say Lyn Ed, something that will alert me to have a look at the camera. If there is someone down there I just have to park my motor at the top of the track to block them in and call the cops

don't forget the speakers so you can say to them " would you mind returning those logs to the pile you just got them from please?" or words to that effect and watch their reaction:lol:

Dean i hope you don't get any swingers down your wood or you will be watching all your videos and won't get any work done LOL LOL :biggrin:

I've had that on the track opposite the house David, one of the coldest nights of the year and there were some proper car bonnet action, trouble is at that time I didn't have a zoom lens otherwise I could have made a fortune selling copies.

Just an update to this thread with recent plant theft threads I have been asked which stealth camera I have.

I am currently updating to the one below, after doing a lot of research it's about the best one available at the moment, it is small and compact and will alert you via email or SMS when the action is taking place, it can send you a picture so you can see if it is a false alarm or not and also texts you to let you know the battery's are low

Spy Cameras - - Ltl Acorn HD Trail Camera Ltl-6210MM + 8GB FREE with eMail / MMS / SMS

The price is cheap for what is effectively a remote alarm with camera system
