Sorry to hijack your thread a bit but just wandered what parts and bits you needed to make up this trailor? and where did you get them from?

As would be very interested in doing this myself as well!

Trailer Parts and Spares TrailerTek

Stick to 8" wheels as they and their mudguards are so much cheaper.

Pair of suspension units and a hitch.

Steel was kicking about anyway - bit of 2" box and 4" angle - out with the welding set and Bob's your father's brother.

Cool cheers for that. May get a kit like one of these in the future:

Trailer Kits

then all i need is to make up a frame for it!

I'm using an estate car and box trailer atm. Chipper, 4 wheelie bins, kit etc all kept dry and out of site of thieves. You'd have no idea that i was a tree surgery outfit but I do sometimes have to rent a tipper van.

I'm looking to get a tipper trailer and pick up, possibly attaching the chipper to the trailer like some have done on here.

Oh, and I love the idea of turning up on site with just a pick up for those chip on site jobs.
