Funnily enough I always wonder about it when watching the show. Getting into a stumps, I do find it tempting to rip a couple out, sand blast them, level them up and plonk a bit of glass on. Unless you have all the gear yourself though, it sounds a fairly lengthy and expensive process. I wonder if its worth it! Will have to try and do a couple sometime.

I think you're right about having the kit to do it, but I bet they sell for an absolute bomb in the trendy areas.

Going of tables sorry. My mate asked me to move a stump he had found on a shoot day it is about 8ft round and stands 6ft plus hieght, he uses it as a natural bird table by putting seeds over it great to watch them looking over it for food. Stumps have got a lot of uses just need the kit to convert.

How did you find the stability on that one - base looks quite small relative to the top?

Spot on! Kit to convert AND the market to make it worthwhile. It has to be there, just a case of tapping into it!
