Bargain bucket fresh sawn sycamore

If anyone wants some fresh sawn sycamore, I had a short but large diameter butt chucked in with some oak I bought. It's a good clean first length, 66" long, 28" diameter, 18.5 hoppus foot. Ideal for chopping boards. £10 a cube, plus vat and delivery. Would fit onto a single pallet and cost £40-55 plus vat for the pallet depending on where in the UK it's going.

Still got this log. Hint of ripple in the upper lengths that were cut for firewood. Still the same price!

I find Sycamore a good wood but not that desirable , however it is usually easily, and cheaply sourced close to home , I am in Devon and allergic to VAT !!

guitar makers would be a better angle,,from the last few shows I`ve done very few sycamore boards,but loads more cherry ones,,,

Would be nice and good practice for milling. But unloading this end would be problematic... no crane.

It's nothing spectacular. Just imagine a 5ft 4 inch sycamore log, clean enough and about 30 inches in diameter!
