Security stickers for tools?

I was working for a firm today that had their company logo stickers on each saw and it got me thinking. Is there such a product, where you can have your company logo or details on the sticker, but if anyone were to peel it off it would leave the details on the saw (like the 'void' stickers on electrical packaging)?

Or is that a stupid idea?

I know it will be like a drop in the ocean as far as stopping thefts and getting kit back but it may work in some cases.

Where do you stick it though so it doesn't get damaged but isn't on a bit of plastic cover they can replace in a few mins a good idea though

Yes there is stuff out there. I am looking into it currently as it happens as part of something im working on

Is there a product on the market now that does that with a custom graphic? Or not and that's why you're working on something?

Stuff like this is on the market, but sounds quite flimsy. I wonder if a sturdier version could be made...

Engraving is the best way to mark your stuff, go over it with marker to make it stand out. Put your markings in hard to grind areas so they are harder to remove. All stickers can be removed.

I can laser engrave names, logos etc on plastic bits of tools and machinery. As long as I can fit it under the laser head and its plastic, it will engrave!
