i know those pops alright took 5 of em down in high winds,was gd to finish but the ones mark is talking about are def MEWP material just because its safer and quicker but some people will never listen,just make sure dan doesnt go anywhere near em mac eh

MMmmmmmm.........I asked Dan about these trees last night and he says he is 'booked in' to climb two big pops in Minster next Mon/Tues.

 

He hasn't even seen the trees.

 

For those of you who are not aware, Dan is my son. But I haven't had much work on recently, so he has been doing a lot of climbing for Rob.

As I've said Mac, some are worse than others, and if it's the ones I'm thinking of I would say no.

 

I'd climb them, but rigging big bits off the stem that is also my anchor? 50' pop regrowth? No way, Jose.

 

I'm probably being a pussy and it's two p***-easy ones!

 

Let your lad make his own judgement on the day. As long as he knows it sometimes takes bigger balls to say no.

If it takes too long and he losses money, he will learn a valuable lesson!!

 

I'm so glad that when I price work I'm pricing it to do it myself :001_smile:
