Really nice finished work!, I especially like the picture of your supervisor pretending to be sweeping up behind you while carefully taking mental notes for your next evaluation.

Keep up the good work Dan.

easy-lift guy

Lol this was when i popped over with Finlay to see SlackAdder (steve) about some wood👍

Finlay likes to be kept busy so was helping steve in his work shop lol

Finn and Bell (dog) became quite nice friends

So a little update of what little shed time I've had.

1, testing what mixes of wood would look together. This one is Yew and Elm

2, made a start on the other side of Jonny Burch's handle. 2nd hole needs routing out then a final sand before final paint stripping the paint of the bolts then adding the oil

I bought a few ARS turbo cut pruning saws a few years ago, only a pound each, now wish I bought the whole box.

I made a Walnut handle for one and it works very well, finished with gun stock oil.

I will be making handles for the other blades but will give the handle some more curve.

How did you find using those caps bud? Can they be removed easily enough?

Cheers
