I asked the bloke next door and he just looked at me gone out....... like I was a troll or something !

Other people say it is for professional users who work their saws hard every day, not for the likes of me who spend more time cleaning the saw than using it.

If you can work the saw from new in some big stuff or just go at it for the first 3-5 minutes, as per user manual instruction for calibration, all is ok. Though some say they've never bothered to calibrate their 'AutoTune saws. Either way, if they run well, it's good but if the AutoTune is out for the wood being cut/attitude worked in/fuel-oil mix and you can't calibrate it yourself, then things can be awkward.

But I don't see this as being different from a normal carbed saw. If you can tune it yourself, all is good. If you're not up to tuning it yourself, you may still need a trip to the workshop.

From my personal point of view, it saves hassle. Though if you want simplicity. Get a Stihl with its 'M-tronic'. To calibrate one of them, it's 30secs. idling without bar & chain fitted. Now that really is the way forward.

Just recently completed a basic course so looking for a decent saw to get me started with building up some experience before taking on some bigger training, atm seem to be settled on a Husky but stuck between 545 or 555 or even the bigger 365. Is there anything different thats better/which out of the three is best?
