Chat room testing please

Where is the chat room on the arbtalk app? I'm on Samsung galaxy s3. If I click on the link mentioned earlier it opens up on the phones browser which keeps freezing.

For all the iPhone and iPad users down load an app called puffin and it will let you use the chat room

Are you on a home net-group or works-group. If the group has its over server and or virus checking software, it may not be advisable to disable the checker. If it's just you on a single computer, then temporarily disabling it's anti virus, ought not be a problem. Just don't going wandering round the net without it.

 

If you're using 'Firefox', the conflict might be one of the 'Add-ons'. Especially if you're using a pop-up blocker and 'do-not-track' add-ons. Disabling/Enabling these is easy in the 'options'.

 

If you're using 'Linux' - I can't help you, as I know zilch about it, (well all too little).

Can you turn off blah joined the channel, blah left the channel? So we can just see what people are saying clearer?

Seems to work on my pc. Not sure I would use it though. Can you do private chats between members of your choice?

 

Yeah right click on their name on the bar to the right and open a query.

If anyone is getting a flash policy issue try connecting through this link.

 

Channel search > ArbtalkChat

 

You will need to type in your username as the nickname but hopefully should get around the issue. This link may work for iphone users etc as well.

 

Otherwise if you have an IRC client then you can connect to the channel #ArbtalkChat
