What's your mayo recipe Doobin? Everything in the shops is full of sugar so I'm presuming you make your own.

I'm on Chef's Larder Real Mayonnaise atm, from Bookers. 5, 10 or 20kg tubs

0.8% carbs, of which 0.6% sugars. Plenty keto enough! I'm surprised even supermarket mayo has any more than this, there's no need?

That said, the rapeseed oil it's made with isn't the healthiest oil going, and I fully intend to make my own from a better oil. :thumbup1:

One thing I love is mustard...I never really bothered looking at the label before as its eaten in such small quantities, but did have a look on the back of a jar of colemans today. Sugar....why do they need to add sugar to mustard!?

You're spot on - Sugar is added to everything nowadays and its an absolute crime! Thats why I added a link to this site a while back as it has a good list, to give you chaps an idea of the different names of sugar that is added pretty much everywhere nowadays. You have to be quite mindful...

On another note - I saw Steve that you were giving the 12 minute HIIT training a go - Hows it working out for you?

I haven't found one yet that doesn't have sugar so I go without. I'll have to check out a couple of specialty shops.

I also noticed that. Unfortunately I love mustard on my beef. Horseradish is the same.

My lunchtimes at work consist of 2 avacados, 4 boiled eggs, tin of mackeral, mayo, all mashed up with olive oil, an onion, salt and chilli, and fresh lime. Great energy food!

What do you have for lunch at work?

I have an old cookery book says you must add cold water to mustard powder and wait at least 10-15 minutes before eating. And to add any salt/vinegar after this time to avoid a reaction that causes a bitter flavour, also to wait before adding to mayo.
