Actually, blubber (fat) was the main source of their calories. In fact, they knew that if they had only lean mean available it was better to go hungry, for eating just lean meat would give them the runs.

Keto is high fat, MODERATE protein and low carbs.

Muktuk or blubber was a high proportion of the diet sea mammal organs were also very important.

This is a good read

Not at all. Keto is the process of burning fat for fuel. It's converted into ketones which your body can use for fuel rather than carbs- interesting sidenote, cancer cells cannot use ketones, only glucose, and there have been interesting studies into a keto diet to fight cancer.

If your body is 'eating itself' (ie. muscle) then you are not eating enough regardless of whether you are keto or not.

Once in keto, your body will seamlessly switch to burning body fat if you eat a slight calorific deficit. You feel full all the time, your blood sugar levels are stable, it's awesome.

I dropped from 20+% body fat and 13st 6lb to my current 10% body fat and 11st 2lb in six months with f all exercise or effort  I'm six feet tall. My avatar is a bit small, but that's my former chubby self!

This is a good keto resource.:

How do dogs and cats get cancer???

The processed dog food they are mostly fed probably doesn't do them many favours either!

Most people in the know feed dogs the BARF bones and raw food diet, I did with my dog

Raw feeding - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Skyhuck cats and dogs get all types of cancer I think mainly due to high fibre diet/bulk fillers in all types of pet food which as you know would be totally unnatural, you mentioned aasthma, I blame minute aluminium particles in chemtrails/geo engineering for much of it.

i'd be surprised if they made up even 1% of dog owners Lee

Of course its only a small percentage, thats because vets want your dogs ill and big pet food manufacturers want your money. I know people with gundogs who have changed to this diet, they tell me the dogs are much more healthier and fitter and rarely if ever need to go to the vet.

Most canned dog food even the expensive stuff is over 60% rusk, dogs weren't designed to eat wheat

Never been told that a dog or cat has died from eating processed food!

But happy to be corrected.

Its like anything else mate....a lot of the things that are bad for us, also make a huge amount of revenue for companies and in turn the government through taxes...its not in their best interest to put us off buying canned dog foods....and besides, how many people could afford to feed their pets fresh meat etc on a daily basis?

but we were??? You argued against the paleo diet earlier in this thread I believe. How do we differ from dogs in that respect?

Dogs are primarily carnivorous, as far as I'm aware we humans are omnivores, I dont think whole grains are bad for all of us, like milk some a lactose intolerant and others have adapted, I'm pretty sure our ancesters would of died from starvation had they not of had wheat and barley
