The 071 is run from the mog hydraulics,and works well,has full lift, if a little slow.

 

The new crane requires much higher pressure,330 bar!,so will be run by a pump that will clip onto the rear PTO,also the new crane need much more oil,140L tank and that is with an oil cooler.

I have a 081 on a 95 International, and I will pick from the tree, but the pucker factor is high. Prefer to pick up from the ground for sake of confidence.

Aint mogs really slow tho can you drive them on normal license

My old man had a u900 and 1000 they were not bad machines what they lack in speed is made up in there off road cababilities and been able to power large chippers.........

he just spenr the last few months before crimbo driving this around for a firm from suffulk harvesting christmas trees at kielder forrest....he did not like this set up as it was very top heavy especialy on the terrain they were on....

I do like the mogs there the business what can they carry compared to a transit 3500kg

haha compared to a transit , telhol they can carry around 4-5 to on average they can carry more but thats all you'd get in a mog chipbox if your lucky, and pull 20ton,someday i'll buy a new or very late one, if the laws don't change

I like the sound of that my transits in very good condition but its a wiesel.

 

I need a machine like a mog but too much for me right now.
