Crane beast.

Had this to deal with the other day so we made it safe and waited for the winds to die down a bit. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/picture-forum/66232-storm-pictures-put-them-here-18.html

 

Decision was made to crane it down but could not get near the job because of the amount of room a normal crane needs with all its legs out. A mate of mine has got a tractor unit with a monster Hiab on it that can lift 4 ton at a staggering 50` so down he came.

 

First job was to crane it off the roof by lifting the whole tree over the stack. We then backed up our truck and craned off the top in sections while he held it. While he was there we got him to tear out the stumps. Nice lorry and crane but at £250k I dont think I will be buying one :)
