Processing wood today in the rain,I wondered if any of you are using an improvised tent type of structure, which covers your truck(when backed under firewood processor elevator), and processor elevator,so your split wood is kept dry. I have been looking at some ex army tents which may do the job ,AS LONG AS THEY DO NOT BLOW OVER. Just an idea .

we use a gazebo but make sure its the pole type as they are stronger than the pop up ones and then tie it to the processor! shade in the summer water proof in the winter and you could even put sides on it!

An army 12x12 would be great if not bigger, they should also come with metal pegs that keep the side etc down. They peg in from the inside bud

We clamped one of those big chinese garden brollys to the tractor one year. I wouls imagine you could buy stuff from camping shop to keep them water proof. You could buy one of those structures they use when picking crops.
