I've owned both a 550 and 560xp over the last year and used a 261 and 362 quite a bit and have to say that Stihl have lost the plot.

The only positive I can find with the 362 is that it is quite good at chugging through logs once it has picked up speed (which takes a while) - It's almost like they aren't pro saws anymore, more like landscaper/farmer saws.

There needs to be a mass boycott of Stihl saws, I really don't know what they're playing at.

Having just had an HSE inspection this week I would be looking at the vibration levels when linking to purchase particularly if you are an employer. We genuinely thought that we were doing the right thing by choosing saws that kept vibration levels below 100 pts per day. Not good enough! And now we are being charged per hour by the HSE for a visit and letter. I would avoid a non CE marked saw!

I'm pretty sure saw troll owns a dolly or two mate.

I'm sure you're right! But I wasn't talking about just a dolly or two. I was referring to two specific saws that brought Dolmar back in business and ahead of the competition. Just as it did with the 7900 a couple of years ago.

If he had or hasn't is it still a possibility parts will be there next day or within 5 days with a makita/dolmar with there current network??one of my lads recently did large felling , he was given a new makita and it broke ... Infact all 3 broke down so nobody had a saw
