  1. Would say from a personal experience that springers are easier than a cocker spaniel to train but I've been doing it a while, as others have said little and often and don't let the dog slip and get away with anything from day one as they are far too intelligent and will make things harder for you wen it come to formal training at say 16 month old. I always make a point of drumming in the steadiness and keep the dog guessing and using its brain. If you repeat the same thing to often the dog will catch on and anticipate ur next move rather than waiting for the appropriate command, without sounding big headed my dogs have come from field trial champ parents and are themselves champs in competition and prove themselves every shoot day I take them on
  2. Wouldn't bother with the ce lanyard ....over priced!!! just get whatever length piece of rope you want as a lanyard, couple of karabiners piece of friction cord and a micro pulley to make your own, will be less than half the price
  3. you can get full skip square ground off rob d on chainsaw bars only has it in .404/.063 though, not an easy chain to hand file though, think it would take a lot of practice
  4. Have to agree completely.....best thing I ever bought and when accompanied with the art spiderjack and a thin tightly woven rope like tachyon or Samson velocity it makes climbing a pleasure, self tends slack like a dream, go spend your hard earned !!!
  5. After a lot of searching I gave up and started looking for a new starter motor for the jcb 3cx and lo and behold what pops up but an ignition key for a 3cx which strangely is identical to the key for the Jensen other than it has jcb stamped on the plastic. Hmmmm
  6. Its the little black one, had a look on eBay but can't seem to find anything what resembles the one I have

  14. Its a 2010 and has 700 hours seemed reasonable to me when I did the math works out a 175 a year, not sure if any of you chaps would think that's high but seemed ok to me
  15. Well just picked up my new/used (new for me) chipper today and what a machine they are, put some big lumps through when I got home and it swallowed them with no fuss at all Over the moon to say the least !!!!

  17. You get little self adhesives mounts u stick on your lid then the camera slots into and locks with these two little tabs.... I haven't been that aggressive with mine so far but the little abuse it's had its held up well

I if I'm not mistaken I think that slit is for clipping on the petzl head lamps I have the hero 3 black with the little wifi remote and have to say everything about it is superb, had do drop the recording quality down on it as the laptop couldn't hack it when trying to edit the dam clips haha.... Would certainly recommend this little piece of kit to anyone
  19. Just got some myself off Rob...... Used them yesterday and so far they seem good and seem to be the wedge of choice among the " west coast fallers " those orange still ones didn't last 5 mins before there was lumps out, so would say k + h are well worth the money Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk
  20. This beaut was waiting for me today, got delivered at 10, was like a kid at Christmas diving into the box, it sounds sad but looking forward to getting some cutting done with it on Saturday ...... Cheers honey brothers!!
