did it miss the building completely or was there a bit of damage??

Just caught the corner of the roof cladding, nothing to major. It's a church hall - Devine intervention. :001_smile:

We had to rely on a winch on to stop it falling back into the hall as we dismantled it - just in case our connections with the big guy weren't strong enough.

Great pics guys. I had a surprise on coming home from work on Friday to find the road ahead entirely blocked by a 35ft Cypress that had seconds before fallen on a Waitrose truck. Luckily the driver was unharmed! So I went to help clear up and a Hi-Line guy handed me a chainsaw. Together with a few other guys (stranded car drivers) we had the road cleared in about ten minutes flat! Sorry guys I didn't have time to take any pics - the usually quiet country road had a ten car tail back each way of impatient drivers.

Yeh and they probably thought we were the contracted clear up tree-surgeons rather than two off-duty ones trying to get home:lol:!

Apparent quick response would have impressed the punters - hope you had some sign writing on your van for some good advertising :001_rolleyes::lol::lol::lol:
