Does it really work well?? I've been considering it but have some doubts!?

I sell in dumpy bags but don't store them in the bag so thought about changing to storing in bags to cut down on handling. Do the bags last multiple uses after having holes put in them?, do they hold water in the bottoms?, how many holes are needed and how long does it take to put the holes in?

 

Works really well, been splitting green in to 1m3 bags for 2 years now and not had a single problem, no mould just lovely dry logs.

No it's not! Put a loose filled cube of logs in a m3 bag, then empty that bag into a solid cube container, you will be surprised how many logs you have left over!

Our 1.5 metre bags nearly fill our 2 cu metre truck. The more u use them the bigger they get.

Bags stretch but logs shrink as they dry out, 6 of one half a doz of the other.

There's no "and" about it Ian! You are doing your self out of hard earned money.

 

If you want to GIVE, let's say .25 of a cube of logs away in each "cube" you sell, that's up to you.

I get your point eggs, its down to how anal you get about it, you could argue a cube bag is only 3/4 of a cube if stacked tightly.

 

I just fill a bag green, leave it for 12 months then deliver it, never have any problems.

The other way to look at it is customers will be happy and more likely to come back. Always made me smile when people selling 0.7 bags against my cubic metre box felt they were pulling a fast one when actually they probably dropped close to a cube anyway.
