I haven't the inclination to watch the whole thing, but he specialises in cracks from around the 6 to 9 minute mark. He could be in the lunge thread if we got a good clip swinging his maul. If my wood took as much splitting I'd be doing something else.

That and many other comments and actions, not ergronomic working at all poor lad. I dont think he had much grasp of wood structure/behaviour either, whacking wood without a firm no give base is harder work.

Why on earth is he taking a run up?! Never seen that before and why is he trying to move the log, much easier to take a step to the side haha he's gonna be a long long time splitting 22ton haha

Quite frankly, if I had 22 tons of oak to split, I'd invest in a powered log splitter!
