I too have recently bought a Jet boil from FRJones

One splosh of gas does 20-30 cups at £2.99

Thats better than McDonalds.

Even get a coffee plunger.

Bigger gas bombs give better savings but you lose the compactness.

Can't really understand why you would want a stove that needs wood and all that associated soot. (although it sounded like a good thing)

If you are in the woods just set a fire and boil a kettle.

Am I getting lazy

A kelly kettle will boil ten times faster than a regular kettle.

I have a small kelly kettle ~(enough for two cups) small nugget of fire lighter then i just feed wood shavings (from the shave horse) in the top. boils in no time at all!!

If you want a second load of water and the fire is already going, i would say that it will boil as quick as a jet boil!!!!!!:thumbup::thumbup:
