A friend used to have a Schliesing - not sure which model. They seem a good, solid, well built machine but a

A friend used to have a Schliesing - not sure which model. They seem a good, solid, well built machine but a bit heavy. I seem to remember that parts were quite expensive and maybe harder to get hold of than the more common chippers.

Been there done that and would do it again, build quality second to none.

 

Parts are available, it's made of standard parts so you don't have to go to the main agent for evrything.

I run a 200m and it's spot on, only ever had one problem with it and I think that was down to a blockage in a fuel line, once it was blown though with a air compressor its been back to normal again,

Recently sold our schliesing great machines but after sales poor, we contacted overland on several occasions but they're just not interested, hence sale. Although great machines wouldn't buy another one because of that reason.
