Felled a load of these over the past couple of months. Some 85 footers this week.

There seems to be a bit of interest if it's decent diameter without a shake. Or it's literally coated in burrs (had a 4ft one of those which had instant interest).

Otherwise it's all firewood.

Ryland forestry in Warwickshire had in the past had said they would travel for saw mill quality Elm may be worth giving them a bell if you don't get sorted on here. They were certainly interested in running down into East Anglia for decent parcels even if it was only part loads that could be made up.

 

 

Sorry only just read your last post, I will leave this contact info up incase anyone else has some to shift and this comes up on a search
