So if its not the new Isuzu what will it be ? The new Toyota or the dodgy Navara D40 ...........

I never drove the d max but did drive the new Toyota. Problem is with dealers they never have the bottom of the range 18k double cab. The Toyota drove very nice but the version tested was 27k + vat. The rain pours in when you wind the window down and floods the window switches. Sounds like a bag of nails when you floor it , no leg support apart from that very nice.

so are the bakes bad on the new d max?

Maybe it was just the one i drove but the pedal was spongy, there was no initial bite, and no power to them.

I said how bad they were to the salesman and he said they're all like that when they're new and they'll get firmer and stronger over time! B*llox!

Could be they do take at least 500 miles to bed in. The material could be harder to stop it fading when stopping your 3.5 tonne ifor that had new brakes 6 years ago.
