Chipper blade sharpening costs?

I have a small engineering Shop & have been sharpening Blades for a few guys for a little while as a 'side line'. I am thinking of making this a little more commercial to make use of the jigs & fixtures have made up for various common blades.

Would any one let me know how much they are paying for a proffesional sharpen (not linished, angle or bench ground), type of blades, quantity turnaround etc. This will give an idea if it is financially possible.

£7 per 7" blade.. thats with a bevelled grind(not a flat grind)

£4.50 for two timberwolf blades.

 

Takes 2 minutes to do. So there is money in it if you have alot to do.

I pay £6 pair for tw 4inch blades, a bit more of they are heavily damaged, The company I use colects them and returns them for a pound each way, so I tend to do three pairs at once. The delivery van comes my way once a week so I send them on a wednesday and get them back on the following wednesday.

i have tp250 blades, they are about 12/14 inches long 3 in a set. 3 sets for 40quid plus vat, and the guy does a great job.

Vermeer 8"blades, £7 a pair. They come back sharp enough to shave with i reckon! I know of another place which is £8 plus vat.
