Yanmar make Kobelco minis at the moment so corresponding models are exactly the same but different paint. So I guess go for whatever is cheapest/best back up.

Is Doosan the maker of bobcat aswell the dx27 is exactly the same as the e26 & I'm sure someone said that bobcat are made by doosan but I could've heard wrong

Yessame machine- although they have different body work etc- think the guts are basically the same. I don’t spend much time on micros so not really familiar with what’s on offer at the mo. Normally I’d suggest looking at Takeuchi, but purchased a new Takeuchi tb216 last year and in somes ways I’m a bit disappointed with it. Deffo think Yanmar/kobelco would be worth hiring/demoing and see what you think.

I think I'm gonna get the yanmar on demo I use micros quite a lot and hate jcb 8008 style levers exact same controls just in a different position i without armrests that's why I'm being quite picky spoke to a few people with the takeuchi tb210r and really slow and gutless apparantley

Yes- servo controls are a must. Saves a lot of neck ache leaning over sticks! That’s more or less my experience with my latest Takeuchi tb216- poor lift capacity at far reach, breakout is disappointing. Small things like expanding tracks retract by themselves if working over the side, engine takes an age to warm up before you can move without the machine stalling- wouldn’t buy again. Shame cos my older takeuchis are phenomenal in comparison. Yanmar for me next.

I think that's the route I'm going down with yanmar tbh can't afford to pay £18-21k on a heap of utter s**t I'll get on the buzzer tomorrow and get a demo arranged cheers for the info

Anybody aware of a company who makes decent bolt on ram guards for a 2.6 ton size machine, let one of the other lads loose on the bobcat today and he's managed to put a few noticeable scars in the main lift ram with the grab tines, we have had words but now I know it's possible I'd rather have something that covers the whole front of the ram not just the standard that covers the chrome.
Also possibly the bucket ram could do with a cover as in among it with the shear on.
I tryed Google but kept just getting big demolition stuff.

It has said smaller machines added soon in his advert for a while I think, so might have something sorted now.

Fairly dead end as will only do them out of hardox and bending it needs stupid pressure and minimum size sheet to fit the press so making them for small rams and machines is uneconomical as to much waste after its cut down to fit.
