Saturdays job!

Just thought i would share a few pics of yesterdays job, Mature Oak next to a busy road with 4 phone lines down two sides, plenty of room to the front though. coppers turned up to close the road for 5 mins to do the road side. The job was for the prison service, Tree had shed a small limb and had quite a bit of cambium damage at the base on the road side and as kids play on the grass underneith (tree was on prison officers quaters) the prison manager wanted it down and is going to replant with 2 Oaks. Has a few Tree huggers turn up and give us the "have the council given you permission" thing....all in all a nice steady job. 4 hours from start to finish inc clean up

 

OH and no jokes about fat lads up trees:sneaky2:

you did that in 4 hours..? how many men..? Thats some going pal, nice work.:001_cool:

 

Me climbing with 4 groundies, 2 mine and 2 prison staff. all brash and timber taken away by them as it came down. hardest part of the job was keeping em working for 4 hours solid:sneaky2:
