Yup +1. Those plastic things are useless

Are the steel ones any good?

Do you use the red grease?

Josh

I've tried dripping oil in as it says but it's totally useless and goes right in the clutch where you don't want oil

Yes to the Red Fluid grease. Keep the metal filler pump topped up and it works fine. Use it in the bar sprocket a couple of times per day too.

I always seem to get more on me than in the tube when filling though :-)

Ok will try I see the need to lubricate the needle beating but bit those nose sprockets, surely it just flies out within seconds and it's getting constantly oiled anyway with chain oil

There's a couple of views on greasing nose sprockets. One is to leave alone; as you say the chain oil provides some lubrication. Plus the idea that in grittier conditions the grease will retain more dirt within the nose possibly leading to early failure.

Or like myself you grease semi-religiously. The bar manufacturer has provided grease points so I use them.

Down to personal choice really

Straight out the box this saw ran amazingly, used it a handful of times now, only because it's not my saw, but it's defiantly a winner in my eyes. The balance is spot on and the weight is great, power??? Well what can I say?? its a husky!!! It Sinks it's self in an don't stop unless you do. Cracking saw and nothing more I can say. It runs circles around the 201T...Only time will tell to see if it's man enough to compete with the infamous 200T... :)

Im in the same situation as you Adam on someone elses husky.. Once it had about 20 tanks it was amazing. Love this saw, better than a stock 200 imo. :D

I've only had three tanks through mine and it's sweet. Very glad with the choice (although I wish I'd bought the battery topper instead) and I've even greased the bar sprocket, first time ever for me.

Sent with my iPhone from me, to you!

20 tanks? 3 tanks? Lmfao you guys need some help!!! Counting how many tanks of fuel you've used!! Ok Ben did say "about" but that's because I know he can only count to 10 :D

I'd say your right though Ben it is defiantly as good if not better than a 200t running wise butttttttt! Will it cosmetically stand the wrath of time??? We will see :)
