As long as the glasses conforms to the “CE” Standards EN 166

I've been wearing glasses but find they steam up when its cold or I'm working hard, the other annoying bit is, I'm rather anal about having clean glasses so when it rains...... 😡

But it saves the weight (I know it's minimal) and getting caught up in branches

Ear muffs and glasses. Had enough seeds, saw dust and general rubbish in my eyes while using a visor. Not so much with glasses. We use Bolle anti fog which seem to be the best so far.

Clean your glasses with a TINY dab of shampoo, stops them steaming as long as you don't rinse it all off. Takes a few attempts to get it right without smearing but worth it. Practise on a bathroom mirror before you shower and it will be clear when you get out. Once cleaned the word 'die' on someone's mirror - they really freaked out the next day when they got out of the shower. :D

Also works on windscreens etc but does need doing quite regularly.

Washing up liquid works well for me cleaning safety glasses. Seems to stop fog for a bit also.

To my mind, a visor is face protection from a chainsaw only. No way does it stop stuff from getting in your eyes, I never use one.
