I was going to post a picture but thought everyone would just laugh in these days of wrapped haylage etc.

Great minds and all that :laugh1:

It catches the hay they pull out and gets a second chance before soaking into the mud. Small holes drilled in the tray to let out any water. Liz wanted to spend £120 on a new feeder but 40 mins and some zip ties and we were sorted.

There always good at spending your money but when you need to replace your tractor its like the Spanish inquisition.

Got round to turning a load of standing dead Ash and Cherry in to logs. Someone's Donkeys ate all the bark off the bottom section of the trees and killed them. It's fantastic stuff! Still got quite a few more trailer loads to go at yet too

Afternoon all.

I was wondering if you guys might be able to give a rough estimate of what this lot is worth? I'm about to purchase it delivered from about 2 miles away via tractor and grab trailer. I'd hazard a weight of around 4 tonnes?

I'm guessing the greener wood is Beech, and the browner being a Leylandii?

Any input is much appreciated.

This for personal use? There's not much there, fair few tiddly thin bits. 4 tonne? I'm not sure.

Yeah it's for personal use, there's no timber going around in cord to buy, so it's the local arb or nothing really.

He's wanting £400 for this lot delivered.
