Warranty is 2 years on all new huskys.. dealer told me the other day.. push for repair or replace, they're legally bound to do so, as long as you followed the manual (which clearly you did) don't let em screw ya

Yea . I was pretty sure it was 2 years .

Well if they have it apart I would want to see the damage and if you were running the correct mix then all I can think is there must be an air leak . Fuel line split ? crank seals gone ? carb come loose ? . Could be a warranty job ?

I recently stripped down a 560xp which had a massive air leak in the crankcase. Unbelievably the piston n barrel was perfect, the autotune had compensated for the extra air!

I had some good news today.I got in touch with the dealer I purchased the saw from and they said husqvarna are well aware of this problem with the saw. All I have to do now is send it back and it's being fixed under warranty. I was told that there is only 1 years warranty with husqvarna but because it's a known fault they will fix it. Still a pain and inconvenience but at least it's getting sorted :001_smile:

Great news... It'd be nice to clear up this warranty issue though... 1 or 2 years is I big difference... I mean I'm happy with the standard 1 yr but 2 yrs warranty would be one more nail in the Stihl coffin imo
