I gone a tad mad we pics tonight, so I,ll make this one the last:001_smile:

 

one of me trailer I made, its on a sankey chassis and is a tipper with a hyd hand pump, wish I had put a leccy pump on it, but I didn't have one.

 

wanted something we a bit of ground clearance as I tend to get most of me logs from a area where theres a lot of fair size stumps.

That looks ace, liking that a lot. I've seen a few converted Sankeys but they usually used the original, rotten tub and looked a bit clunky.

thought id put another pic up or two up.

 

some pics of it tipping, really should get a leccy pump for it as it takes a age to pump up by hand.

 

chassis cost me 60 nicker, 40x40 bow was a old mc, donalds hoarding and the galv sheet I had left over from a job.

 

so all in it cost me about 100 nicker we the lights and such.

 

I know where theres two more big sankeys going for 50 a piece but these are the big ones you two behind a lorry and a bit tatty.

 

that's if they aint been scraped yet.

at a guess would say a wheel weight to bring it back down when empty

the wheel weight is to get a bit of weight on the front of the trailer, I made the body a bit longer than the chassis, so its arse heavy

 

before the weight was on, the trailer used to snake when being towed so a bit of weight on the front sorted that.

 

need to take it off some time as ive got so 90x90 bar to put on the a frame, will look better than that wheel weight.
