"Manual of wood decays in trees"

by K Weber & C Mattheck

Great compact little dashbord sized reference book.

Most user friendly fungal Id reference ive got,

was the freebie Colin Bashford gave out at the Barchams decay seminar a few weeks back.

Might be worth contacting him to see if theres any left.

My boss has one of those, great little book, they should sell it as a cheap little guide, or better yet give it free to members of the forum, Colin?

Just curious here, i'm looking at getting one of Shigo's books most likly Modern Arboriculture, I know this book.

But there is also a New Tree Biology with Dictionary, anyone familiar it? Is it worth purchasing.

Also where is the cheapest place to buy Shigos Modern Arb, I saw it for £89 before Xmas on Amazon now its £150!

No, its extremely dense and unfathomable. One of the most uninspiring and downright boring books I own, sorry, buts it true.

Shigo's best book is Modern Arboriculture by a long way.
