I don't know why you guys are all whining about these calls! The customers, all be it difficult sometimes are your bread and butter! To them their job is the most important and it can be frustrating but you have realise this and be diplomatic. I get so frustrated when people wont answer their phone and go elsewhere in the end so someone else gets the work. We live in a want it now culture so if you don't want the phone ringing for work then go and work in Tesco's!

You are the type of customer most will try and avoid, just others haven't learnt that yet:biggrin:

I do 99% of my dealings with text or email, I find it far more efficient and takes very little time, once I'm on the phone I'm on it for ages :blushing:And I go off in tangents and end up having a chat, also with my iPhone I have all my info, so when it's on text or email, I can copy and paste into my notes and calendar.

I forgot to call a customer this week because I answered the phone to him earlier in the week, hung up and then got distracted.:blushing:

I apologised, admitted it was my fault, he was very understanding as I've worked for him before:001_smile:

I,ll pass all mine onto you then..

People who phone business,s expecting them to answer the phone for non emergency work during unsociable hours are selfish and ignorant. Nine times out of ten they turn out to be nobs anyway, your welcome to them

I,ll stick with my decent, thoughtful considerate customers thank you

I'm bad for texting people at all times, it jumps into my head to I just send a text, it's up to them if they want to reply or look at it or take the hump!!

Who doesn't have their phone within an arms length in this day and age?
