Isuzu NKR All terrains

Hi Guys looking for a bit of advice regarding all terrain tires for my Isuzu NKR.

Got a couple of tip sites that are on grass and have been stuck one too many times. Current tires are rubbish and I'm in need of a new set, but every where I've tried refuse to give me all terrains as they are apparently illegal to run on a commercial vehicle due to lack of load rating!!

Thing is I know plenty of guys that run bf goodriches on a 130 and they don't have these problems and carry just as much as me!

Any advice on tires you guys use or all terrains with a load rating on cabstars, dyna's etc???

Wouldn't want winter tires as I'm looking for something that lasts a little longer.

Thanks Owain

Just to help a little bit on this. The yank rubber like BFG AT has a different method of rating than the english equivalent.

Something like a 31x10.5x 15 bfg at has a load index rating of 109 = to 1030kg per tyre. 4 ton for a 4x4 is in most cases more than adequate.

You just need to make sure that you have the right load rating, its not uncommon for a tyre shop to quote the needs according to the E rating . If you are having problems order the tyres and just get them to fit them under your instructions, job done. The BFG all terrain ticks most boxes for general use and gives a good level of grip in the wet on tarmac, we have used them for years and rate them.
