Hi again, thank you all muchly for your warm welcome and generous comments, i knew from reading previous threads you'd be a top bunch, but I have to clarify.

Sorry if the opening jabber was misleading, I am new to arbtalk and the Donnie darko-esque thingy is my first carving but I've been at it now for two'n'half years on and off ((time/work(builder)/kids(2of under 3))

Thought it would be good etiquette to share humble beginnings as I'm sure most have.

Posted an otter pic in the otter thread which is about a year old, hopefully better than my giraffe.

Practice makes progress and any advice from you guys who defo know what your talking about is golden.

Thanks again,

will post pics of my latest, tomorrow which has ceased progress due to not wanting to f it up.

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
