An Oak came down just down the road from us but I think on a whole we were lucky in our area.

I prefer it when there's a bit of ppe involved, standards to keep you know.

I got called out to a local robinia, roadside, she is a biggy with multiple failures & still standing, lv cables through it so no can touch until a shutdown is achieved, still waiting...

 

The road is closed, but that has not stopped the barriers being pushed out of the way & traffic flowing through with total disregard to highways signage, I wonder how that works legally if a car gets squashed.

ok heres my little bit of action for the day,

 

we had quite a few call outs... but....before we could anything, we had to remove our willow which crashed across our yard carpark,

the lads see it drop and said if i was 1 minute earlier i would probably had been squished as it fell where i park everyday

 

 

Then we it was onto call out number 1,

 

eucy onto a house, was a bit difficult, no way of getting a mewp or hi-ab in..

 

so it was a winch,rope and climb jobby, didnt get anymore pics, was too chaotic lol

Where do you live James?

 

I live in Sissinghurst Mark, my girlfriend lives in Sandwich so I travel a fair bit lol

 

The oak was in Goudhurst - part of Bedgebury I believe.

Once we removed the sail, and unnecessary big wood which wasnt touching, came down and winched up off the house, then resecured 2 ropes then chogged down the rest,
