Not having a dig, but I think you should have called the police immediately.

 

They may have gone round the corner and stolen something else, that person rings the police, but there are no leads, your call could have been just what was needed.

H Hunter I have heard of this before when a local gardener got his tools pinched . Trouble was he had the same routine most morning's local shop for a paper and his fags . Only to come out one morning and his hedge cutters / strimmer and blower had gone : ( They were on his little Bedford Rascal pick and not secured ?

 

i keep me stuff locked up and insight if im in the woods workin and lose sight of the landy i cut a hole and drive in,they are stupid and brave these days and soon apear at all types of site to steal what they can .its not like good old bank robbery their sneaky these days.

And she your not a thief its very difficult to think like one.

 

I think I have began to think like them,i,m always looking out for the give away pick ups, if I have a dodgy van following me and I have saws etc on the back I wont go home, I,ll take a detour until they turn off

Yes Skyhuck I should of phoned the police although it was raining and its Sunday . No excuse but I just had enough for one day after that confrontation 001_smile: I am normally so switched on . Probably working Sunday in the rain didn't help ?

 

As I said, not having a dig mate, I've been there, you just want to get done and go home :001_smile:

 

But we often find fault with the plod, but if we don't give the info they need we can't complain when they don't succeed.
