Is there any need for all this bollocks? It's a forum for god sake. We are all going to have different views. A zero tolerance sounds like a load of tosh to me.

Do you want to surround yourself with "yes men" Steve?

And yes I have read and re-read this post.

You may have read it but you clearly don't understand it eggs...has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with having 'yes men'.

hhhmmmm.

the zero tollerence on bullying yes. but then when does one see that a reply that is contravening becomes bullying? its a very fine line between replying in a way that is saying, your wrong and this is how it should be done, to being a bully as such.

having trouble trying to get accross my point in this post as its not an engine and i cant type very well.

zero tolerence against obvious bullying, but seeing something as bullying isw hard.

and the use of smilies is tosh im affraid as a lot of people dont use them.

unless your jon, then its most of the post :laugh1:

Fortunately I have a smashing team of moderators who will make fair judgements on this. Few of you guys seem to be spending more time on this thread worrying about it than others, why is that?

Any changes around here will only be made to benefit the forum...:001_smile:

Personally I don't think we need the option to remove a post, if you are old enough to write it you should deal with the consequences if it causes offence. Like gensetsteve says don't drink and post if you get a bit mouthy after a few pints, if you cause offence at a bar you can't take back what you've said and it should be the same here.

I love this forum and to hear that some people are afraid to speak out for fear of what other might say is saddening. Steve and the mods have a tough enough job I'm sure without having to manage grown men bickering.

I think it just boils down to think before you post and re-read what you've typed.

if i dont know i ask, if i still dont know i ask again until i do know, and yes i see this does come accross annoying, rude and even obusive to some extend, i need to know things or they will bug me for ages after and i cant let go.

sorry but just the way my head works..

I think there is a big difference between being a yes man and I Quote someones post " we sat like sharks waiting for a post " You will always have difference of opinion but thats different to trolling through looking for a fight. There again I could be for the chop in the morning
